Film screening in Dar Es Salaam on 31 May
The German Development Service (DED) in Tanzania has an annual meeting in Dar Es Salaam next week. Since the theme for the meeting is HIV-AIDS, they will show the film “Love in the Time of AIDS” on Tuesday 31 May. They have agreed with the hotel to make the show public so that anybody is invited to see the film.
Spread the word, tell your friends in Dar about this opportunity to watch the film.
I also think it would be nice if someone could represent STOP SIDA and perhaps answer questions or participate in a discussion after the screening. This is an opportunity to make the association known and inspire others through DED’s development workers and partners.

It is my hope that many people especially youths in Dar es Sallam responded positively to your invitation and show. However, I have few suggestions to make. These include:- to organize a show of the film to Stop Sida members and the community of refugee camps in Kibondo District at large. This would serve as a teaching media to these populations on issues concerning HIV/AIDS
- To produce copies of the film so as to let people willing to buy it get this opportunity. Again, this would give the owners of the film a room to watch it at whatever time they want.
